17-Year-Old Girl Dies, 2 Others Hospitalized After Incident In CT

Police are investigating after a girl died and two others were hospitalized after an incident in Connecticut.

At around 3:10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15 in New London County, police and fire department personnel responded to a report of an unresponsive female at a residence in the area of Jefferson Avenue and Buchanan Road in the city of New London.

The 17-year-old girl was subsequently transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital in New London, where she was pronounced dead.

Two other individuals, whose ages have not yet been released, were transported from the same location to the hospital for medical treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, New London Police said.

The identity of the 17-year-old has not yet been released. The identities of the other two individuals who were treated at L+M Hospital are being withheld at this time for investigatory reasons.

Further release of information is pending, New Londo Police said.
